Howdy Friends!
This summer is a busy one for us. Next week we will be at the Nodaway County Fair for several events. (http://www.nodcofair.org/)
First, I am working a booth for the Northwest Bee Busters. (http://northwestmobeebusters.blogspot.com/) I will be there on Friday night. It is an informational booth. Stop by and say hello sometime during the night.
Then on Saturday morning, Amber will be doing a Hapkido demonstration with Duvall's Academy. Then she will go to meet the MHS marching band for the parade.

Howdy Friends! I have pulled one honey super off my hive. Soooooo I have some honey for sale. If you are interested in buying some honey please text or call me. 660-541-2424
The honey is packaged in one pound bottles. The bottles are currently $5 each. The honey is not inspected by the government, and is all natural. I extract the honey from the frames and filter it. I hope you enjoy it!

Yummy!
My Apiary!
Howdy! Everything here is good. I had to combine two hives because they were weak but otherwise all is fine. I really enjoy working with my bees. It is a time with no phones, kids, or anything else screaming at me.

Howdy!
Howdy!
This is a blog to let you see what we are doing here in the Midwest on the farm. I have been thinking about creating this blog for quite sometime now. My other blog (http://outinthecountryandlovingit.blogspot.com/) still works. I just want to have a blog that is for our outdoor activities.
One of the hobbies that I am interested in is Beekeeping. Here is a picture of me, teaching children about what a beekeeper does.

Happy Reading!
